Declaration
I DECLARE it is not too late to accomplish everything God has placed in my heart. I have not missed my window of opportunity. God has moments of favor in my future. He is preparing me right now because He is about to release a special grace to help me accomplish my dreams. This is my time. This is my moment. I’m not settling where I am. I’ve let excuses hold me back long enough. But today I will take steps of faith to pursue new opportunities, to explore new hobbies, to break bad habits, to get rid of wrong mindsets. I know it’s not too late to accomplish everything God has placed in my heart. The rest of my life can be the best of my life.
Focusing on Our Community
Common Sense.
Both Madison County Commission Meetings are held in person and online at 10:00 am. My goal is to ensure that 1 of those two Madison Country Commission Meetings are held at 6:00 pm to accommodate taxpayers who aren't able to attend or view meetings online during the day or mornings.
Advocacy.
Our district and all of Madison Country have narrow roads and bridges that are main thoroughfares yet unsafe. My goal is to ensure that all of our routes in Madison County are safe and able to accommodate current and future traffic patterns. We are in the 21st century, not the 18th and 19th centuries, where horses and buggies were the norms for travel and transport.
Resilience.
The City annexed into the county to increase its tax base yet has failed to provide adequate essential services such as fire, police, and post offices. My goal is to ensure that infrastructure is developed to provide these vital services and improve the quality of life for the taxpayers.
Strong-will.
Some services were assigned to the Sheriff's Department that does not meet their skillsets or interests. My goal is to ensure the reallocation of resources to focus on the community's needs as a whole.
